Features of calcium silicate as insulating material

  • Good thermal insulation:  The material is consist of hollow spherical balls (average 50 microns in size). Thermal conductivity remains essentially
    unchanged according to temperature.
  • Long life span: Under designed application temperature, calcium silicate boards do not shrink, deform or disintegrate. The thermal insulation
    performance is maintained throughout life span.
  • High tenacity: Light weight yet high strength. The tenacity is one of the highest among inorganic materials.  This feature is advantageous in decrease
    the weight load of a kiln.
  • Convenient installation: All needed is ordinary carpentry tools.  The boards are readily tethered with glue and formed into the desired shapes.
  • Safe operation: Calcium silicate is not corrosive or toxic.  It does not generate off gas or any odor under high temperature.  It presents no harm to the
    environment or human health.
